The elected leadership consists of ten Council members including one Chief, one Deputy Chief, and eight Councillors.

The current Chief and Council is Delores Kakegamic. She will be in office from 2024-2027.

Each Councillor will be responsible for two portfolios — a primary portfolio and a secondary portfolio. This is to ensure issues/concerns are addressed in a timely manner and/or in the absence of the portfolio holder.
